a lizard got in

A lizard got in from the not-yet-screened-in porch. Befriended by our cat, it lasted all of 20 minutes. Now it is dead. I called my husband and he said it was good it was the lizard and not the cat. HD and MP come home tomorrow and I'll show them the corpse now mounted onto the fence, just outside the porch.

ethics

I like my job. Although it's not the kind of photography that makes my heart beat fast (like Siskind and Giacomelli) I like that I'm not sitting a desk collecting blood clots in my legs for the full 40 hours of my shift.

But I still work in a conservative office environment. This week's controversy:
Does a photo of a transexual in a low cut shirt, huge breasts and a man's face offend you? Does it violate the standard ethics of journalism to publish such a photo? If a volunteer photographer on your staff posted such a photo - would it be your job to delete it?
